Are young people turning to faith? Press and Journal 2nd Jan 2022

There is evidence that suggests young people are turning their attention to spiritual matters and perhaps as a result of the pandemic they have had the time to ponder the bigger questions in life.

We have some amazing work with young people happening within our Presbytery and it’s always good to share these initiatives. We have kept some anonymity around some of the contributors to this article due to the nature of their work, but the article has highlighted the work and views of Rev. Robert Smith, Rubislaw Parish Church, Aberdeen; Rev. Jonny Clipston, Newhills Parish Church and Susan Van der Plas affiliated to Stockethill Church Aberdeen and Project worker from the charity The Samuel Trust. This charity is a Christian based organisation that supports families and children in the city.

Thank you to all presbyters who work with children and young people in our Presbytery and if you have anything you would like to share about this work please submit to the next edition of Presbytery News by email to: SJoseph@churchofscotland.org.uk
